Author Bio
Jon and Cathey Langione, both retired and
widowed, met through a computer dating
service and married less than six months later—
convinced their meeting was truly a match
made in heaven. Seventeen years on, they still
enjoy lively conversations about their earlier
adventures, many of which have inspired their
writing. Together, they have published 35 books
under the Langione name, some co-authored
and others written individually. Cathey has also
created the graphics for all of their works,
making their writing a true team effort.
Author Bio
Jon Langione grew up as an only child
to a single parent, miles away from the
nearest neighbor. To fill the quiet, he
created friends on paper, giving them
unique names and personalities.
Though he excelled academically, Jon
enlisted in the military early, eager to
escape the boredom of high school.
While his classmates were finishing
their senior year, he was stationed in
Turkey, breaking top-secret codes.
Those experiences became the
inspiration for his writing—stories he
began crafting during his service and
continues to develop today

Cathey Langione’s life has been
anything but ordinary. Fresh out of
college, she broke new ground as the
first woman in sales for a large bank—
and in her very first year, she became
the first salesperson ever to earn a
new car for surpassing her quota.
Before the age of thirty, she was
running a small general aviation
airport with her husband’s support.
Years later, the husband she met on
the computer dating service
encouraged Cathey to write about her
earlier year’s filled with remarkable
